I work. I take care of my kids. I do my laundry. I go to the grocery store. I read. I spend time online. I tutor a student in precalc and physics.
That's it.
I lead an utterly uninteresting life.

Sometimes I feel like spouting nonsense into the void without regard to who might be listening.

(Just another day in paradise, as most folks on this planet would see it... I'd hate to know what you'd think of my life--me with no little ones to add the spice of mayhem to the workaday hum-drum.)
AFAIK, you seem to live a net positive, so you can at least feel good about that. I'm sorry to read that you're recovering from loss of the game store. A certain husband of mine is acquiring board games at an alarming rate. "Yinsh" is intriguing--I still haven't figured out the strategy, though I do well enough on pure intuition. So when do you plan start secretly coaching Zoe to kick Ben's butt in chess? ;-) If you wind up with the next Judit Polgar in your house, I'll never stop laughing...
Ben does have a chess set, but I think Zoe's approach to board games currently consists of throwing the pieces all over the room. It may be a little while before she learns the rules. Which reminds me, I should be teaching him how to play - I was about his age when my dad taught me.
Well, throwing the pieces around is part of the game, isn't it? (At least if you're as appallingly bad at chess as I am...) ;-) I didn't learn until I was going on twenty-one, so I'll never even be mediocre.
Precalc and physics? That sounds pretty interesting if you ask me.
